Current Job Openings Fast-growing medical billing service in Encino, California, seeking applicants with excellent customer service experience and excellent telephone and communication skills for position as patient account representative. The position involves contacting insurance companies on outstanding claims, resolving complex billing issues, and problem-solving skills are needed, as well as phone interaction with patients to collect on outstanding receivables.
Ideal applicant will have a great work ethic and will be a fast learner, computer literate, and a team player capable of working well independently. Proven excellent attendance and punctuality record required. Some college education. Detailed knowledge of physician medical billing, CPT, & ICD-9 coding needed, with prior work experience in a physician's office, billing service, or hospital/healthcare setting. Schedule: full-time days. Will accept applications for part-time if able to work 30-35 hours per week. Benefits available. Interview will include medical billing test. Requirements
- Ideal applicant will have proven customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 coding.
- Knowledge of medical billing and/or follow up to insurance companies on outstanding claims.
- Excellent communication skills required.
- Excellent phone skills.
- This position requires applicant to be on the phone 90 percent of the day to resolve billing issues and problem-solve.
